The Vucense Privacy Protocol

Privacy-First Analytics

We use GA4 via Cloudflare (no third-party scripts). No Meta Pixels, behavioral tracking, or invasive trackers.

Data Sovereignty

Your interactions are yours. We collect minimal telemetry to improve performance.

Local-First Preference

We prioritize tools and architectures that keep data on your hardware.

Open Infrastructure

Our stack is transparent and built on privacy-respecting standards.

Vucense is built on the principle that privacy and sovereignty are fundamental, not optional. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep your data secure.

01. Information We Collect

We believe in collecting only what is strictly necessary to run the site and support our business model.

  • Usage Data: We may collect anonymous, non-personally identifiable information about how you interact with our site (e.g., pages visited, time spent) to improve our content.
  • Cookies: We use minimal cookies strictly for site functionality (like your theme preference). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for behavioral advertising networks.
  • Newsletter Subscriptions: If you opt-in to our newsletter, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we will never sell this list.

02. How We Use Your Information

Any information collected is used solely for:

Providing and maintaining the website.
Improving user experience and performance.
Analyzing aggregate trends and content value.

03. Data Sovereignty & Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We are committed to the principles of data sovereignty—your data belongs to you.

When we display ethical advertisements, we partner with networks that do not use cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling. Ads are served contextually based on the content of the page, ensuring your personal data is never shared with advertisers.

04. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of any website you visit.

Some of the links on Vucense are affiliate links. When you click through an affiliate link, the partner website may use cookies or referral tracking to process the purchase. We do not control those third-party privacy practices.

05. Cookie Categories & Management

Vucense uses the following cookie categories:

✅ Essential Cookies (Always Required)

  • Session ID: Maintains your session while browsing (expires at end of session)
  • Theme Preference: Saves your light/dark/reader theme choice
  • Cookie Consent: Remembers your cookie preference

📊 Analytics Cookies (Optional)

  • Page Views: Anonymous data about which pages are most visited
  • Session Duration: How long users spend on the site
  • Device Type: Mobile vs desktop access (not identifying individual devices)

Note: We use GA4 analytics through Cloudflare (server-side), not embedded directly on the website. This is first-party only and anonymized—no third-party tracking scripts.

🚫 Third-Party Cookies (NEVER Used)

  • • ❌ Behavioral tracking (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads)
  • • ❌ Cross-site profiling
  • • ❌ Retargeting cookies
  • • ❌ Data broker partnerships

Your cookie preference is saved in your browser's local storage. To change your preferences at any time:

  • Clear Browser Cache: Clearing your browser cache will reset your cookie preference
  • Browser Settings: Visit your browser privacy settings to manage cookies
